Not Only the Mafia

A collective body gathers before the Via Palestro plaque: a civic, performative action demanding truth and justice for the massacres of 1992–1993.

On 23 July 2026, on the day that marks the bombing, civil society drew close before the Via Palestro plaque. A quiet, resolute gathering, to restate what the courts have already written: that this massacre, like all those of 1992–1993, was not the work of the mafia alone.

The demand is for full truth: about who pointed Cosa nostra toward its mainland targets, about the presences reported by several state witnesses during the planning and execution. Over 150 citizens and institutional figures, alongside 37 collective organizations, answered in defense of constitutional values.

The gesture is led by Il Tempio del Futuro Perduto and the urban dance collective Urban Dancing Prophets: the dancing body becomes civic presence, memory taking shape in public space.
